The Mk III Capri was not available with anywhere near the ammount of options that were available to the Mk I Capri owner in 1969. Some of the extras that were available are listed below :

  • Alloy wheels
  • Driving Lamps
  • Various different paint schemes
  • Push button all electronic stereo
  • Rear inertial reel seatbelts
  • Extra cover warranty

Fords Extra Cover warranty plan was available to cover a new Capri for 3 years or 60,000 miles and covered a wide range of parts.

It was also possible to dress your MkIII Capri up with a range of bodykits, fog lamps, alloy wheels, spoilers etc from the RS catalogue.
